Last summer saw a huge amount of work done in the Lodge and Hut to get them looking fantastic for our Centennial Year. This coming work party season will see more of a focus on the Chalet and Turoa.

Once again in order to make the best use of hopefully fine warm weather we are focusing our work parties early in the year.

For those of you who joined in 2015 and deferred your work parties, this also means you have a choice of weekends before the March 31st deadline for completion.

Several of our work parties coincide with holidays as well, so why not take advantage of this fact and stay on for a few days afterwards to enjoy our fantastic World Heritage park and all it has to offer?

We tend to think of Ruapehu and the park as a winter destination, but it is equally fantastic place in the summer. Just ask the thousands of overseas visitors who head there each year!

Likewise, if you are attending any of our holiday work parties, bring the kids and stay on in the Chalet or at Turoa to explore the region. Children are of course welcome at all work parties.

As always people with building and other trade skills are sought.
